Our hotel offers expertise in looking after groups, clubs and societies from all over the UK and overseas. These groups have common interests and special reasons for visiting Swanage which retains much of the charm of its Victorian heritage, sandy beaches and situated at the eastern end of the Isle of Purbeck in the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our hotel is located at the eastern end of the 95-mile long UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Jurassic Coast with its stunning scenery.

    Wander for miles on the magnificent coastal pathway around the Jurassic coastline or along a huge number of well-defined footpaths and bridleways inland

    Arne RSPB is only 20 minutes drive from the hotel, it is the largest nature conservation in the country. While away the hours amid a plethora of different habitats – from majestic woodlands and serene Jurassic coastal seascapes. Studland Nature Reserve and the Sika Trail in Wareham Forest are also worth exploring, Brownsea Island which was the start of the Scout/Girl Guide movement and home to the red squirrel
